"Helping one person at a time"

Overview

The Cowboy Crisis Fund was established in 2003 by Ada, Oklahoma native, Bill Montin, with help of his longtime friend, Wilford Brimley.

The purpose of our organization is to provide financial assistance for members of our local community and surrounding areas of Oklahoma who have, or are experiencing, financial difficulties due to a medical condition.

Since we were established in 2003, we have raised approximately $400,000.00 and helped over 240 individuals.

We are proud to say that 99% of funds raised are returned to the community.

Our big annual fund raiser includes a dinner, our infamous live and silent auction, and a dance, that raises funds enabling us to provide assistance to individuals in our community and surrounding areas throughout the year.

We have many community and business leaders, not only locally but throughout the state, including Bob Macy former D.A. of Oklahoma county and his son Brett, who help make our fund raiser a huge success.

Along with them, are the committee members that all volunteer their time and service. We have 20 to 25 active members along with 7 executive members.
